I realize I haven't posted an entry in days, but nothing really important has happened recently. We had Boys Down the Hall practice Thursday and yesterday and both rehearsals went pretty well. We chose the singers of the solos for Run Around Sue (I've got the first one, Ben second, and Bryan third) and yesterday we started going over One. No word on who's doing the solo for that song yet, we're trying to learn the regular part first. Chris didn't go to either practice which has got everyone in the group mad at him. Thursday he claimed he was sick and yesterday he went out of town. We've been arguing all day about his commitment to the group and I'm really pissed at him right now. He wants to be a member of the group, but will be missing lots of rehearsals and doesn't even know if he'll be able to attend the concerts. I told him I needed a decision whether or not he wanted to stay in and regardless we're going to be having more auditions coming up soon. With losing Brent (I think I mentioned that before) and with Chris doing this down, we are really lacking in members. I'm having Scott set me up with a new audition time and I'll be remaking and posting the posters ASAP.
Other than the drama with Chris, things have been pretty boring. We only have a three day week this week with Thursday off for Yom Kippur (gotten love Jewish holidays!) and Friday off for Fall Break Day. Saturday is Amber's and my three year anniversary. I've got her presents already and I know she's gonna love them!
I finished taking my antibiotics for my throat on friday and on friday night and all of saturday my throat totally hurt again. Today has been a lot better but I don't know why it was so bad yesterday. I'm still debating whether or not to go back to Mary Walker tomorrow.
Friday we went and saw Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist. It was pretty good. Afterwards we went to Walmart so I could return my video camera. I noticed the other day while I was there buying Amber's anniversary present that they had an updated model of the same camera I bought with new features and it was red and silver for the same price. I was still in the 30 day return time, so I brought back the old one and bought the new one. I'm really glad I did because this one is a lot better.

My pretty new camera :)
Amber and I played Lego Batman for a couple hours today.

It's such a fun game to play co-op. We beat all the hero missions and have the villian missions left to go. She can't wait to play as the Joker lol.
Now that I think about it, I completely forgot to talk about the big important thing that happened last week. Nintendo's fall conference. In an attempt to make up for their poor showing at this year's E3, Nintendo blew everyone away with a plethora of new announcements and games! First, and most importantly, they announced the DSi the successor to the DS Lite. It's looks almost exactly like the DS Lite, but with many differences. It has two cameras, one on the inside, and one on the outside. It's got an SD card slot which can be used along with the newly announced DSi store where you'll be able to download classic games and homebrew games (exactly like the Wii has now). It has an updated interface, built in web browser, it's thinner than the DS Lite with slightly bigger screens, but it doesn't have a GBA port. Here's a picture of it, there is also going to be a white one.

Nintendo also announced several new games for the DS and Wii such as: Sin and Punishment 2, Mario and Luigi 3, a new Warioware game, and the one that I'm most excited about, Punch Out for the Wii.

With full motion support, this game is going to be awesome. My dad's so excited about it, he's even offered to buy me it when it comes out as long as I let him play it.
This Saturday is national coming out day and we get our free t-shirts either tomorrow or Tuesday. Since we have no classes on Saturday, the day is being observed on the 8th, giving everyone a chance to wear their shirts to classes.
21 days until Guitar Hero World Tour comes out!

WHOO-HOO!!!!
That about wraps things up for tonight's entry. In conclusion:
-Chris is really pissing me off
-Boys Down the Hall is doing really well
-Nintendo is amazing again
Also, what do you think of me including pictures in my entry? Like it? Hate it? I think it makes things more interesting to look at. What do you think? Leave me a response in the comments. Also, I want to get the word out about my journal. Anyone have any ideas on how I can do that? Please let me know.
