Well it's official. With John McCain's concession speech, Barack Obama has been elected the 44th president of the United States of America. YES WE CAN!!

I went home to vote yesterday for the first time. The voting booth was a lot more complicated than I expected, but the only thing that mattered to me was my vote for Obama. I haven't been in Auburn for months so I had no idea who the people running for all of the other offices were. I picked up my winter clothes (which were covered in mold from the closet...) and movies from my house after I voted and I brought Amber to vote afterwards. We stopped at her house when she was done to wish her Mom a happy birthday (this Saturday) and give her the cake she made and present she bought her. We got fast food for dinner before heading back to Oswego so I could make it to work at 8:30. Other than Thanksgiving at the end of the month, I'm pretty sure there's nothing else exciting happening for the rest of November.
We've had two opportunites to perform for Boys Down the Hall and we haven't been able to do either of them. We were originally supposed to sing at the open house next Tuesday, but Todd Graber (our staff advisor) doesn't feel we're ready yet. Instead he gave us the opportunity to sing Friday before the choir concert, but we're not doing that either. Jeremy's busy with something else and Scott's going out town. Without our two soloist, it's kind of hard to perform (Jeremy: Run Around Sue, Scott: Take You Back and One). The only other chance we're going to have this semester to sing is at the Feast of Carols on Dec. 7th but we'll have to learn a festive song by then, meaning what we're doing now won't have purpose until next semester. I'm working on setting up auditions to get some more people before next semester but I'm still waiting on the response from my room reservation before I can put up the advertisements.
My free trial membership with Gamefly is almost up and instead of sending me the games on my list that I want to try out, they're sending me ones that I don't care about that much. I wanted to try out Wii Music as bad as it is, but instead of sending me that, they sent LittleBigPlanet for the PS3. LBP is a really interesting game and I'm glad I get to play it, but I still want to try out Wii Music. They are also currently sending me Samba De Amigo for the Wii instead of Ninjatown for the DS which I wanted more. When my subscription runs out, Chris bought the same pack of air heads I did so we can get the subscription again, but this time in his name. I just have to make sure I cancel it before the end of the school year otherwise he's gonna get charged for another month!
Well I'm at work and have about a half and hour left of my shift, so I'm gonna wrap things up here.
